因此，AR 技術已成為日常生活一部分。
AR 的市場推廣優勢：吸引求助者、捐助者和義工
AR技術相較於傳統的慈善宣傳方式，有很強的優勢。以往的慈善組織都是透過傳統的信件、電郵和活動吸引求助者加入，進行募捐活動和招募義工。這些帶有統計數據和圖片的內容往往可以在情感上打動求助者，捐助者和義工。但如果要讓他們更好地參與其中，幻燈片、廣告或小冊子是遠遠不夠的，他們需要親眼看到，獲得身臨其境的體驗來加深對慈善組織的印象，並促進了解其組織的慈善理念。AR提供的沉浸感技術，毫無疑問地可以滿足這些要求。慈善組織能以虛擬影像互動地宣傳其組織名稱和活動，這種市場推廣模式有助大眾加深對慈善組織的認識提升其知名度，有更多投射或是體會。
現時有不少慈善事業都開始身體力行地實踐著與AR的結合，希望可以透過身臨其境的故事增加觀看者的同情心。例如，AR科技為稻苗基金會慈善晚宴帶出香港名廚製作的忘不了魚AR。以科技吸引善長留下晚宴的美好回憶紀念善舉。另外，美國喬治亞州立大學運用「動態立體捕捉技術」去製作慈善廣告－〈In Someone Else’s Shoes〉。該廣告結合即時、動態立體捕捉技術等AR體驗，描述著一位住在自己車內的全職看護Jen，觀眾藉由手機或行動裝置，下載同名App，踏進Jen的世界，一起經歷她的日常生活以及可能會發生的困境，藉此讓觀眾更能了解流浪者所面臨的挑戰，達成該廣告的訴求。而且只要人們下載 App，觀看流浪者日常的生活故事，桑坦德銀行就會捐出 1 美元用來幫助這些流浪者。另外，人們打開 App 並走路，每達到一英里，桑坦德銀行也會捐獻 10 美元。在短短三天的活動期間，走路者有 4,801 人，最後銀行捐出了 20 萬美金的善款，幫助了 200 個人。
對慈善事業而言，捐款金額的成長並不是最重要的，AR的意義更多在於喚醒人們對社會環境問題的關心，如本會的宗旨所述的「認識長期病患者及照顧者的困難及服務需要」。AR能做到的就是縮短人們和陌生社會環境的距離，建立連結的橋樑。
可以看到的是，科技正讓我們的感知工具不斷迭代，透過AR技術的沉浸式體驗，公益可以透過呼喚人性的共鳴來實現。
